Welcome back to another episode of Going Nuclear, everybody with myself, Trevor Hall and the one and only Justin Huhn. Happy summer, Justin. Good to see you, man. Happy summer. Always good to see you. How are you doing? You know, I'm pretty good. I'm pretty good. I will tell you. So I know like we talk about kind of timeliness, seasonalities of markets once in a while.

And there's been this old adage of, you know, summer doldrums, doldrums sell in May, go away. I mean, in the general market, there's a lot of things happening to keep your head on a swivel. But in the uranium market here, Justin, I mean, I feel like nobody's experiencing summer doldrums quite like the uranium investor right now. It's pretty quiet. It's really quiet out there. And I guess technically the summer isn't even here for another three or four days, right?

But yeah, it's here early this year. Yeah, it's you know, it's it's not really it's an easy to explain phenomenon. It's basically the the primary drivers for movement in the physical market are the nuclear utilities. And a lot of the fuel buyers for the utilities just basically take the summer off. And it's not to say they take the entire summer off and they're not working.

But it's the the uranium market slows down in the summer almost every year. I would say three out of every four years since I've been following it, it slows down in the summer and the equities tend to follow suit. So people get bored and they sell. Oftentimes the spot price stagnates or maybe drops a little bit. It's actually holding pretty firm here for the last two, two and a half months, right around 85.

It's dropped a dollar below that, a dollar above it. But it's it's it's holding firm in the mid 80s. But generally speaking, it is very, very quiet out there. And it's it's actually surprisingly less quiet in the physical market. There's still some action there. Spot is pretty quiet. But in the term market, we've got some activity there. And I expect that to actually continue.

But will it be sufficient to be a quote unquote catalyst to wake the sector up in the next few months is is hard to say. So, you know, more than likely, we'll probably see a quiet period for about six to eight weeks and more than likely that will equal some malaise in the equities market and some pulling back of the equities. Will we revisit the lows we saw two weeks ago? I have no crystal ball, but that's where we're at now.

Broad markets responding to the peace deal. But apparently I don't really know how to discount these things anymore. I don't think anybody does. But here we are. It's it's relatively quiet. But the the brilliant thing is that the setup is is very, very good here for a continued move once we kind of kick back into gear, because as we're seeing when things quiet down, the price stays firm.
