Hello and welcome back to another episode of DeFi Decoded. I am Alex Tapscott back from our summer break. There's been a lot going on in the world of crypto. In the last couple of days, we've seen markets reacting very positively to news from Treasury Secretary Besant that they are going to work hard to basically keep yields down.

And when yields go down, Bitcoin goes up. So there was a positive reaction in Bitcoin as well as in gold and silver. We also saw the SEC passing or pushing forward some new regulations for token issuance, which could change how companies raise capital. And of course, there's always clarity on the back burner, which should reappear in a few weeks. And we'll definitely get to that when the time comes. But today, we're talking about something very different or somewhere very different, somewhere very near and dear to my heart.

And if you can guess what we're going to be discussing for those watching on video, it is Canada. So I'm based here in Toronto. I think a lot of our listeners know that. And Canada is one of these places that for a very long time has produced some of the best talent in the blockchain...
