[SPEAKER_09] Good Tuesday morning again. Welcome to Squawk on the Street. I'm Sarah Eisen with Carl Quintanilla live from Post 9 of the New York Stock Exchange. Today, the volatile tech trade. Chip stocks and memory names among the biggest losers driving this global tech sell off. But Wall Street looking to claw back from the losses here.

[SPEAKER_04] As you can see, quantum names getting a boost today. The president backs the technology and seeks to fast track some development. Sandbox AQ's Jack Hittery is going to be with us. Find out why he says the move marks a new era in America's cyber defense posture.

[SPEAKER_09] And Meta doubling down on wearables. Debuting newer and cheaper Meta design smart glasses. We'll discuss how this move positions Meta in the ongoing AI race with the company's VP of wearables. First up, though, in the markets, we are seeing a little bit of a comeback. The Dow has actually gone positive. The Nasdaq, it's still down one and a half percent as tech weighs on the overall market. But beyond the defensive groups, which opened higher, like Staples Real Estate and Utilities, you have strength now in financials and in energy.

[SPEAKER_09] You're still seeing pressure on Micron following the move overnight in South Korea's Kospi index, which took down SK Hynix and Samsung. Micron's down 10 percent into earnings tomorrow. NVIDIA is down two. But some of the hyperscalers are actually a little bit higher, like Microsoft, Amazon and Meta and Apple. They've been weaker in recent days.
