Hi, I'm James Schillinglaw for Insider Travel Report and I'm here today with George Hunter, who's the Vice President of Leisure Sales for Posadas. Now many of you probably know Posadas, but you know mostly about their brands and they have a lot. We're going to go over them, particularly Fiesta Americana, which I've stayed at many times over the years in Mexico.

And now they're all over the place. But we're going to talk to George about Posadas, about Fiesta Americana and all the other brands, as well as some of the advisor programs that they have in the market today. And you'll find out about that and more on Insider Travel Report. George, first of all, great to see you. Wonderful to see you. I think you told me you're based in Dallas right now, right? Yes, sir. Thanks for having me today, James.

Okay, it's great. Well, let's talk first of all, what are some of the hotel brands under the Posadas portfolio, the umbrella? Although we are going to focus on Fiesta Americana for this particular interview, but what are the other brands that you have? So a couple of important things for us to note. A few years ago, we launched a new umbrella brand, particularly for US and Canadian market, that kind of allows us to encompass our multi-brand strategy.

Right. So a lot of what you'll see from us is under our Fiesta Americana travel tea collection. Okay. The collection gathers all the brands. We have nine hotel brands currently. Our upscale brands include Live Aqua Hotels and Resorts. And I've stayed there. Grand Fiesta Americana. Fiesta Americana Hotels and the Explorian Hotels and our new brand, Devotion by Live Aqua.

I have not been there, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. I have been at Live Aqua about a year, maybe two years ago now, when it first opened actually. It was just recently after that. But let's talk about what are some of the, what new hotel developments can you share for Fiesta Americana travel tea collection? What are some of the recent openings?

So speaking specifically about resorts, last year we rebranded the well-known Grand Dam in Cronavaca. The Sumia is now Grand Fiesta Americana Sumia. Okay. Then we did a takeover in Riviera Nayarit. We now have Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit. We rebranded in Playa del Carmen. We have our new Devotion by Live Aqua Playa del Carmen.

I go down to Playa a lot, so I'm eager to go down and see that one. That looks amazing. Well, we're eager to have you at the hotel so you can give us your thoughts, especially on the new brand. We've rebranded Devotion as a celebration resort. Okay. We've focused on everything related to celebration in your travel.

And we also took recently Isla Beachfront Resort on Isla Mujeres, which will have an evolution over the coming year and be rebranded into one of our core brands. But right now we'll continue to operate as Isla. And Isla Mujeres is a wonderful island off the co...
