San Lorenzo Gold, they are a Chile-focused gold-copper explorer advancing its flagship Salvador project in that Atacama region of northern Chile. The project sits within that highly prospective mega porphyry belt and contains multiple exploration targets and we have seen a number of very successful drill results coming out of some of those emerging targets, the Cerro Blanco and Arco de Oro discoveries as of recently.

Happy to finally to welcome in CEO Mr. Al Kroonchi from San Lorenzo Gold. One quick note, they do trade on the venture with SLG and on the OTC with SNLGF. Al, good to have you on the podcast. Thank you so much for your time. Well, thanks for having me.

This story, this company has moved and quickly evolved from what was a grassroots exploration play to really a potential district-scale discovery, you know, kind of beholden to the market here.

You know, if we look back the last year here, Al, um, give me a sense of just kind of the, you know, the overall traction you've gotten, a lot of success from the drill bit and maybe has it been so good that has it surprised you in management at all on yourself or did you kind of know you had something special on the ground when you took these projects on? Let me start with something that will give a little color to that question and the answer I'll give you. And that is that we're really a 14 year overnight success.

So, uh, yeah, no, really we've been working on Salvador since 2012, um, doing very modest exploration programs that include, you know, the typical things that you do to start with like Aeromag and surface geochem work, uh, surface sampling in other words, and then IP and, and limited drilling as we, um, as we progressed.

So you asked me a question, were we surprised about the traction and the, uh, success that we're getting? Well, we are pleasantly surprised and very happy with how the drill bit has been treating us. So, you know, indeed that's a blessing. I would also add though, that because of our involvement here with limited exploration programs,

we've known our heart of hearts for some time that this is something very special hosts, um, well, numerous, numerous targets, but numerous minimalized targets with good grades and the ability to really expand into a district scale. By that, I mean, we've got five targets of which we've drilled four holes and each one of them, the targets, I mean, have the potential for multi, multimillion ounce deposits.

So, um, yes, surprised, very pleasantly, um, surprised entirely. No, because we've been involved for a while and seen how kind the drill bit has been to us. Mm-hmm. Uh, discovery holes obviously, uh, recently have been rewarded and, and that was really the name of the game to get, uh, San Lorenzo, you know, on the map and within portfolios.
