[SPEAKER_A] It's Friday afternoon, July 3, and this is AgriTalk. Welcome to AgriTalk. I'm your host, Michelle Roehlk. Well, markets are closed today for the July 4th holiday. So today we celebrate our 250th birthday by looking back at 250 years of agriculture with Susan Stoud of No Bull Ag. We'll recap some of the major milestones in the industry and how they have shaped agricultural markets. That's right after we get an update on fertilizer markets with Josh Linville, vice president of fertilizer for StoneX, including this week's presidential executive order lifting the countervailing duties on phosphate fertilizer from Morocco for 8 months. Josh, thanks for joining us.

[SPEAKER_B] Absolutely. Thanks for having me on just the day before we get to go celebrate.

[SPEAKER_A] Yeah, happy holidays.

[SPEAKER_B] My youngest has done his part in making sure we keep the fireworks industry alive for another year.

[SPEAKER_A] Yeah, that was never my thing. But I guess hats off to those that do it. Well, talking about fireworks, let's talk about the fireworks that we saw in the fertilizer, I guess, industry this week in terms of headlines, several headline stories impacting the fertilizer market or the fertilizer industry in general. I gave you the first one off the top, the president's executive order on CVDs on phosphate fertilizer for 8 months. All right. Why did he wait so long to do it, first of all?

[SPEAKER_B] That was my very first question. And I can tell you right now, I don't have an answer to it. And here's what's really frustrating about it. I still, I always want to make clear, I appreciate the focus on the fertilizer market. This is the first time I think we've ever had this much focus on our marketplace.
