WorldWide Markets. Soccer World Cup kicks off Thursday. What will be the winning stocks? I've got some ideas there. Mega IPOs, now we have three. And Alphabet crashes the party. I'm Simon Brown. This is WorldWide Markets episode 681 for 10 June, recorded early Tuesday afternoon.

So we've got SpaceX coming on Friday, $135. Share code will be SPCX.

You will be able to buy it on Shift and get CFDs on it on WebTrader from US Open, 3.30 Friday afternoon. It's probably going to pop in the initial. We'll see how it goes. It's unusual that they're doing $135. They're saying, that's the price. Take it or leave it. Usually it's like, well, a bit of an auction thing. The company will say, we want $140. The market will just say, we want $132. They'll settle on a price.

It's $135. And that's the big story. It's going to be about a $1.8, $1.75 trillion at that share price. It'll probably have a value of over $2 trillion during the course of the day as it pops. So it's going to be huge. Saudi Aramco was about $1.6, $1.7 trillion. But to be clear, getting excited about oil from the Middle East is a hard sell. This is a much more exciting sell. But there's things happening.

So last week, Google's like, hey, you know what? We're going to sell $80 billion worth of shares, dollars, dollars, $80 billion worth of shares to shareholders to get some cash. Because, man, we're spending money on data centers. And why be borrowing money when we can issue new shares? Fun fact, Berkshire Hathaway took $10 billion of what ultimately was $85 billion of new share issues. I raised this because now we've got SpaceX and they want $75 billion.

So it's $160 billion of cash in a 10-day window. Where does that cash come from? Now, there are record amounts sitting in American sort of cash accounts, cash deposits, money market, etc. But I don't think a money market person is necessarily rushing into a SpaceX or an Alphabet capital raise. I think they're probably more scared of the market. So where does it come from? Well, you have to sell other stuff. Yes, there is cash on the sidelines.

But I think we also have to sell other stuff, which is why Micron was down 16% on Friday. To be clear, it was a 10-bagger over the last year. So 16% down still leaves you very, very pretty. But it has been a bit of a sucking sound. And I think that's what we're seeing here is that we need that money. Now, the money will come into SpaceX. There'll be sales and this and it'll all shake its way out.

But in the short term, $160 billion of new capital is a lot. Yeah, yeah. Berkshire came with...
