Unicredit raises its outlook after posting a beat on both the top and bottom lines as CEO Andrea Orcel tells CNBC the bank is firing on all cylinders.

The acceleration of the franchise with market share gains together with the transformation to fuel it and to make the bank future ready is absolutely working bang on. Forex headwinds take a bite out of Roche's first half sales but the Swiss drugmaker confirms its full year targets. We'll hear from the CEO Thomas Schinneker shortly.

Well extraordinary numbers out of the Google owner alphabet and if you want to find some great numbers in there there are some phenomenal increases in profits and revenues. But if you want to find the bad numbers then you're worried about the amount of money they're spending and raising in order to live up to CAPEX aspirations of them and the rivals in AI. Let's go through it and we'll get to Arjun. Alphabet shares sank in extended trade as the Google parent company hiked its CAPEX outlook for the year up to as high as $205 billion.
