Hello everyone and welcome to the Smashi Business Show. Today is Thursday, July 23, 2026 and I am Abdul Majid Awan. Today's headlines are very interesting. Iraq has secured $200 billion in energy deals from America and they also are seeking higher OPEC oil quota. Pakistan is seeking $10 billion US lifeline after Saudi rescued them with $2 billion. Why am I talking about Pakistan on an Arab show?

Because Pakistan was recently classified as a MENA country by IMF and World Bank. So, Pakistan is now part of our region. Then we are going to talk about Emirates and Sir Tim Clark. He is at an event, the world's largest aviation event and he said that we are drawing a line in the sand over Boeing's airplane delays, the 777X which has been delayed now for seven years. We will tell you more details.

And lastly, a little, an Emirati citizen, a recently made Emirati citizen, a UAE citizen, Ray Dalio, founder of Bridgewater, one of the biggest investment fund managers in the world, the biggest name in the world, says he warned Elon Musk, the world's richest man against betting on everything Mars and SpaceX basically. But there's other part of it. There's a second part of it. Tesla yesterday announced its earnings and they are down.

The shares are crazy down and SpaceX is already trading below the IPO price of 135 yesterday. Today it went down to as low as $114. It's a lot of things happening in Elon Musk's world. But the story is being discussed because there's gulf billions riding on that man and his company. So, it's very important to discuss it.
