Let's bring in Tom White, co-host of Fast Market to help set up the action today. All right, Tom, good to see you. So it looks like we have some regrouping happening right now after what's been a strong start to the year that doesn't tell the full story. Now, we talked about a little bit about this yesterday. What's your take now? Well, I think you take a look at just, you know, the results that we've seen from Q2 and, you know, to start the year. You know, we've

typically June's pretty, you know, as far as headwinds created by the overall equity market, June's been a down month historically, right? July has historically been a pretty solid month. But if you look at the results from last month, I mean, the Dow was up 2.5%, settled at a record high. Russell 2000, a small cap surge. That was the best, you know, best quarter that they've seen since 1991. That was up 3.6% in June. So we saw some pockets and some recalibration in the

equity markets where, hey, maybe the S&P 500 and NASDAQ a little bit weaker last month. But they've had really good runs so far in the quarter and for the first half of 2026. I mean, I think if you take a look at the past three years gains, right? 26%, 25%, you know, 18% for the S&P 500. Typically, we don't see these four-year runs that much. But I think if you look at maybe the earnings,

the push aside of geopolitical risks and tensions, now you're starting to see a reacceleration as crude oil has come down a little bit. But this has all been earnings-based, Diane.
