Very difficult to unravel and decipher in terms of what's going on with the war in Iran, Trump social media posts, and the overall macro picture for the oil and gas sector. So there's nobody better to discuss this with. Then Josh Young, the CIO and founder of Bison Interests, an investment firm focused on public energy equities. Josh, we need to start with discussing this confusing relationship between oil markets, the war in Iran, President Trump social media posts.

How is it possible that so many market participants are actually following and believing these things coming out of the various administrations and seemingly acting on them? And it seems like there's quite a skittish sentiment among investors in the oil and gas sector, because we're seeing oil down, as you were mentioning before we hit record today, around 10% over the last couple of days in the face of continued conflict. It looks like this thing is escalating, not being wound down.

You mentioned a tax on Saudi oil infrastructure. Why don't you walk us through everything that's happening right now as you see it, and why the oil price is actually down as a result? Yeah, so I think the best way to think about it maybe is that there's now this oil market equivalent to the market saying of don't fight the Fed. And that equivalent is don't fight Trump.
