Good afternoon, everyone. Welcome to Stock Market Today for Tuesday, July 7th. I am Rachel Fox, your host for today. And in today's market, we saw the major indexes pull back after a positive start to the week yesterday. And we also saw things kind of selling off in the final hours of trading today. Here to help me break down all you need to know about today's market action is IBD head of market research, Justin Nielsen. Hello, Justin. How are you doing?

Hello, Rachel. Well, it's more rotation underway and that makes things a little bit difficult, but we've got some stocks to serve up for you, including some drug makers, Eli Lilly and Jazz Pharmaceuticals. I do have a position in Eli Lilly and we'll also take a look at Match.com. I have a position there as well.

Okay, great. We will definitely get to those stocks. Before we do, I'll give you a quick rundown on what the indexes did. We saw the S&P 500 kind of sell off into the close. It closed down about 0.5%. We saw the NASDAQ lead declines with a loss of 1.2%. The Dow turned negative after opening higher and was down 0.3%. And the Russell closed down 0.9% for the day. So I'm going to go ahead and pull up some charts here, Justin.

Let's take a look at what was going on. We are just kind of continuing to see the shift away from tech, away from AI stocks into some other areas like medical stocks, insurance companies too. David Ryan pointed out some insurance companies that did well on this morning's IBD live show.
