So a couple of things. We've been pretty patient on the timeline. I absolutely agreed that we cannot let Iran get a nuclear weapon. You want $8 a gallon gas? Let Iran have a nuclear weapon. So I absolutely agreed with that. I think they've entered a phase. They either, there's a couple options for them. I think the best option now is to wind it down. There's still other things you can do to make sure that they can't hurt their neighbors and can't pursue a nuclear weapon.

I just argue the time is now. This is the most important harvest time of the year in Michigan, September and October. Diesel costs are pushing over $6. That is going to take a horrific toll, not only on our farmers trying to get the harvest out of the field, but certainly grocery prices. And my argument is you just can't let it go and linger. Now's the time to start winding this thing up.

All right. These are the facts. Mike Rogers supported that cut through that big bad bill. That's right. Here's another fact. The attack on DEI is an attack on maternal care.

Yes, it is. An attack on DEI to recognize diversity, equity and inclusion is an attack by definition on maternal care, including the need to protect black women in connection with their pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum care.

The nation could not foresee some of the stuff that's going on right now. I believe there was just an announcement that the White House decided, you know what, CNN, MSN, MSNOW, maybe the New York Times was included.
