[SPEAKER_B] It's Wednesday afternoon, June 16th, and this is AgriTalk. Welcome to AgriTalk. I'm your host, Michelle Roth. Grain and cotton markets rallied Wednesday on technical buying. Soybeans were supported by confirmation with the addition of 13.2 million bushels of export business to unknown destinations. But is this China? Corn and wheat also rallied on some talk that China might be looking for corn and wheat. Live cattle futures made some new highs for the move before ending mostly lower on profit-taking ahead of cash and the cattle and feed report. Meanwhile, the Fed left interest rates unchanged. We'll have details today on AgriTalk, our guest market analyst, Mark Schultz of Northstar Commodity is our guest market analyst. Later in the show Josh Linville of StoneX Group has the outlook for fertilizer prices with the Strait of Hormuz reopening, at least we hope. And Nick Tsiolis with Farmer's Keeper has our cash grain update. Right after today's market news with Lane Akrey, economist with Pro Farmer. Good afternoon, Lane.

[SPEAKER_C] Good afternoon. How's it going?

[SPEAKER_B] Hey, not too bad. Nice to see green across the board in the grain trade here today. We did get confirmation of that rumored China business. Well, it was unknown destinations, but maybe a China business over on soybeans.

[SPEAKER_C] Yeah, fingers are crossed on that daily export sale being China and that's stacking on the one that we saw about 10 days ago, unknown destinations. So, you know, one would think that they'd want to stick their name out there and say, yes, it's us, we're in the market, but you know, we'll take what we can get.

[SPEAKER_B] Yeah, but corn actually had some better gains than the soybean market here today, kind of helped by wheat, but was a lot of that technical, you think, too?

[SPEAKER_C] I think a big chunk of it is technical. We saw all that heavy fund selling over the past couple of weeks. And we basically negated some of that bearish consolidation that we've been seeing. We've been talking about a potential bear flag forming on the daily bar chart for both corn, beans, and wheat. And we saw a bullish breakout of that. And we saw a continuation of that today. July corn rose 7.25 at $4.21. Closed near the daily high and December corn gained 6.25 at $4.48 in the order. So really bullish closes. And if China does come in, or, you know, if unknown destinations were to do some daily sales tomorrow, that'd be a really positive sign. But sometimes the rumor can drive prices up more than the actual fact, like we kind of saw in soybeans over the past couple days.

[SPEAKER_B] Absolutely. And there was rumors of maybe China looking for some wheat. So I'm going to skip to that one next. Wheat had a nice updat...
