Have you taken a look at Amazon's stock over the last few days? It is going absolutely bananas. It's up over 20% over the last week, and this was all a result of Amazon's Q2 earnings, which were just released on Thursday.

Now, yes, AWS and AI have a lot to do with Amazon's amazing stock price rally over the last couple of days, but that doesn't tell the whole story. There is actually some amazing news from Amazon's actual business of selling real products.

So if you look at online store revenue, quote unquote, basically the revenue that Amazon gets from selling stuff, they're up over 15% compared to last year. And that's Amazon's biggest growth in retail sales in almost a decade if you ignore all that madness of COVID. Amazon's growth rate for selling stuff is basically double what it has been over the last few years.

So what the heck is going on? Why is Amazon selling so much stuff?
