My guest today is Dr. Alan Sandler, who serves as the Chief Development Officer at Revolution Medicines, leading the company's global development organization. He brings internationally recognized expertise in oncology drug development and clinical research, built on a distinguished career as both an academic lung cancer oncologist and industry leader in global drug development, and has contributed to several successful drug approvals.

Most recently, he served as Chief Medical Officer of ALX Oncology, where he led clinical strategy and advanced the company's immune oncology pipeline. Before ALX, he was Chief Medical Officer of Mirati Therapeutics through Mirati's acquisition by Bristol-Myers Squibb. Previously, he served as President and Head of Global Development Oncology at ZayLab Limited, and earlier held senior leadership positions at Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, where he drove multiple oncology development programs.

He has also held academic leadership roles at Oregon State Health and Science University, Indiana University, and Vanderbilt University. Alan earned his MD from Rush and completed his training in internal medicine and a fellowship in medical oncology at Yale New Haven Medical Center. Welcome to Oncology Overdrive. Thank you, Shikha.
