It's Wednesday, June 17th. I'm Frank Curzio, this is the Wall Street Unplugged Podcast. We're back in the headlines and tell you what's really moving these markets.

Daniel Creech, did you watch the Knicks win the NBA championship? Negative. Daniel Creech, did you watch the Knicks win the NBA championship? Negative? Wow, I can't believe it. I think you're the one person that didn't watch it. Daniel Creech, did you watch it? No, I'm not. I have one comment to make after you enjoy your moment. Daniel Creech, did you enjoy my moment? Well, I mean enjoy my moment. Look, I was a Pistons fan growing up because Isaiah Thomas, not the Isaiah Thomas that, you know, like, rate people in the front office later on in his career.

I'm talking about the player who is one of the greatest point guards ever, ever in history. And if you go back and look at that and watch him play, you'll agree. But, you know, people ask me all the time, like I'm a New York fan, you know, I lived my whole life there. Why don't you like all New York teams? I do like a few of them, but, you know, some of them I don't. And the reason is because of the fans. It's not really the teams, it's the fans. And even after the Knicks won, and I'm rooting for the Knicks. I'm happy for them, happy for my friends and everything.

Really, I'm rooting for that team because it's such a good team with Brunson. Everyone doubted him. They said, you know, him coming to New York. Remember, you have Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, who was, both of those were available and want the Knicks to get them. And they chose Jalen Brunson. And look now, look at the other two. So, you know, Josh Hart just, you know, when he missed that layup in game four, I love the fact that everyone picked him up.

They ended up winning game four and, you know, all of them like picked him up, you know, it's just kind of like he, the next play he fouled Wemby, he was on the floor and everything. All three of them were like, hey, get up, we need you. You know, and that was like late in the game. But when you look at New York fans, even after they won this game, you won, you won, celebrate, right? Instead, they're complaining about the refs still. You won, you won, that's it. You know, you listen to all the talk shows and it's crazy. I mean, you're worse than Boston. I was happy because I'm not a Yankee fan in Boston.

You know, the curse is over, but man, did they get arrogant. Yankees suck. Everybody's like, you just, I don't know. When I was, people complain about the Eagles fans, but when we won that Super Bowl and I was there against the Patriots, first Super Bowl ever, we weren't looking at Patriot fans and like saying, F you. We just couldn't believe, li...
