Good Wednesday morning. Welcome to Money Movers. I'm Carl Quintanilla with Sarah Eisen, live at Post 9 to the New York Stock Exchange. Stocks continue to rally here on this Iran war optimism. The president says Iran has asked for a ceasefire. We're joined by one former top U.S. Mid-East diplomat who says none of the options on the table right now are very good. Plus, activist investors putting M&A back in the spotlight with Q1 notching a record number of mega deals. We'll discuss which sectors remain ripe for shareholder activism and deals for the remainder of 2026.

Crypto investment firm CoinShares making its Nasdaq debut. We're joined by the CEO to talk about their growth strategy. Crypto stocks have seen a sector-wide decline over the past six months. First up, though, in the markets, as Carl mentioned, there is optimism. And you see that in this rally, which is extended from yesterday, which was another broad rally. S&P 500 up another 1%. It's pretty broad. The only sectors lower right now are energy and consumer staples, which, of course, were the outperformers during the war.

And the concerns there about higher oil prices and the economy. Industrials, so cyclical groups at the top of the market, up 2% today. Communication services, information technology. As we try to monitor whether this comeback can continue after a rough start to the year, treasuries are also rallying, turned around a little bit, with the 10-year yield down to 4.3% on the back of some better, I would say, economic data.

Yes. Let's begin with the latest in Iran today. The president, of course, is set to address the nation tonight. Our Eamon Javers is in D.C. Morning, Eamon. Yeah, good morning to you, Carl. President Trump is at the Supreme Court right now. He's taking in the high court's oral arguments over birthright citizenship, a right enshrined in law and the Constitution since the 1800s. But the Trump administration is hoping to overturn it. Oral arguments are today. Decision not coming for a couple of months.

It's the first time a sitting president has ever listened to oral arguments at the Supreme Court. We'll watch that to see if he makes any comments about the war or anything else to reporters on the scene. Meanwhile, the president, giving us a sense of his thinking this morning ahead of his address to the nation this evening, taking to social media to say, Iran's new regime president, much less radicalized and far more intelligent than his predecessors, has just asked the United States of America for a ceasefire.

We will continue, we will consider when Hormuz Strait is open, free and clear. Until then, we are blasting Iran into oblivion or, as they say, back to the Stone Ages. Now, the president also gave an interview to Reuters tod...
