Here to dive into industry trends with leading ETF experts, this is ETF Spotlight with Neena Mishra. Hello and welcome to ETF Spotlight. I'm your host Neena Mishra. My guests today are Adam Patti, CEO and David Featherstone-Haw, Investment Strategist at VistaShares.

We are talking about the VistaShares AI Supercycle ETF, ticker symbol AIS and this is the best performing AI ETF. I looked at the performance, it's up more than 125% year to date and more than 200% over the past one year. And we'll also talk about the Electrification Supercycle ETF, ticker symbol POW and that has also done quite well.

It is a newer ETF and this is up more than 50% year to date. Adam and David, welcome to both of you. Great to have you with us today. Well, thank you for having us.

Both these ETFs, AIS and POW, these are Supercycle ETFs and I looked at your website. You define Supercycle as ETFs, thematic ETFs which are designed to invest in long-term technology-driven trends that you believe will reshape industries over many years.

Tell us more about Supercycle and why did you choose Supercycle to describe the investment thesis? Sure, I'll take that one. So, you know, just to step back, this whole concept around Supercycles was actually the brainchild of our co-founder John McNeil. John was the president of Tesla for many years and he was a chief operating officer at Lyft and he's on the board of General Motors and his vice chairman of GM's autonomous vehicle subsidiary.

So, he's extremely well steeped in technology and operations and, you know, he recognized a big gap in the market where a lot of thematic ETFs just simply did not have portfolios that matched their name, right?

So, you buy an AI ETF and, you know, you think it's called an AI ETF but then you look under the hood and you realize, wait a minute, these companies don't really have that much to do with the, you know, AI or it's just a MAG-7 portfolio rewrapped as an AI fund and you're, you know, charge 75 basis points instead of a lot less for the queues.

So, you know, the reason why we kind of went into the Supercycle positioning is because, you know, many products out there are specialists in certain segments of the life cycle of an industry. So, for instance, you know, it could be an infrastructure fund, it could be a software fund, it could be, you know, a consumer-facing fund. What a Supercycle does is it changes over time, right?

So, you know, the beginning of a Supercycle is typically characterized by significant investments in infrastructure and, but that changes over time. So, you know, we are active, these are active ETFs and we can talk more about our investment committee, you know, comprise to some of the world's leading thought, you know, thought leaders in these spaces.
