All right, and there we are to wrap up this session here. The S&P closing down about a percent and a half lower. We're at 73-1639. On the NASDAQ, we ended the day down more than 2%. That was a session low, 27,192. For the Dow, we're down even more than that, almost 2.2%, 51,594. We ended up losing more than 1,100 points on the session. And the Russell 2K is holding down at 2,90631. That's down more than 1.6%.

As we look more broadly across our sectors here at some of the performance that we saw today on the session, technology way down 2.65%. Communication services marginally down. Consumer discretionary down less than a percent. Consumer staples was up by about a third of a percent, though. Moved higher today as we saw some nice moves in some of the staple names in discretionary as well. We saw some nice moves in some of the restaurant names here as we move to our next tab here, but discretionary overall was down.

I'm going to pause on the sectors here to show you this red slab here across the board as it was overall in the markets. A down day for all sectors. And we are going to dive straight in here to Meta as these numbers are coming across the board for us here.

As we take a look at Meta here. Their EPS coming in at $6.18 for Meta for the social media company. The expectation was for $7.10. So that is a pretty significant miss here year over year. It's also down about $1. It was $7.14 in the year-ago quarter.
