[SPEAKER_A] Hello, fellow Rebel Capitalists. Hope you're well. The Atlanta Fed just came out with new GDP expectations and they kind of went like this. They're going like that. Then they just were, oh, we're going to go straight down. Boom. Wile E. Coyote. And by the way, although this was the most recent expectations that they had, or the most recent expectation report, We're going to look at it here in just a moment. It doesn't include the complete swing and a miss from the other day's nonfarm payrolls. It's just the labor market whiff. I'll keep using these golf terms, but let's go over to the Atlanta Fed and check out what's going on. We'll see why the GDP expectations completely fell off the cliff. And then we need to go into some more nuance with this nonfarm payroll, because I think it's really, really a big deal. We can't overlook this. We have to include it into our analysis as to what's going on with the real economy. Now, does this give you any insight whatsoever as to what will happen with the stock market? No, because as you know, from watching my videos, The stock market is totally and completely divorced from the real economy. In fact, often there's an inverse correlation. But anyway, let's go over to the Atlanta Fed. And here you go. GDPNow. This is their indicator. Their— says a key indicator of economic activity. So they try to give you a real-time forecast as to what the next GDP print will likely be. Okay. So they've got several of these inputs. We're gonna go over the inputs here in a moment, but it's down now to 1.2%. But this is the most recent report that came out July 1st.
