Well hey YouTube, it's Chuck! Welcome back! It's been a while. Four months I think is the number, but look what we got here. FSD version 14.3, 2026 2.9.6. I told you if a new version dropped I was gonna do a video. So here we go. We're in the Juniper and I have not driven it yet. The download took a long time because I've got a lot of things going on in my life right now. I'm in a temporary house while I do a...

Oh look, there's the robot cleaning the washer already. Just first part of the drive. I've got a little bit of construction going on. So I'm in a temporary house. So my Wi-Fi is not right. So my Tesla cameras aren't working and my... there's a whole lot going on. In any case, I don't have the optimal Wi-Fi downloading scenario. So my download took a while. But install went normal.

You know, and I'm going to work tomorrow morning at 4 a.m. As those of you on X that follow me know, I even posted today said, hey I'm going to work tomorrow. So here comes FSD 14. That's usually the way it goes. As soon as the wheels are up, it seems like we get new updates. Maybe Tesla, I was watching and they said, oh let's drop it this afternoon. I doubt that's what happened. But it's fun to think about.

This is my normal drive. It is 5 54 p.m. on a Tuesday. So probably beyond rush hour, but we'll see what we get. And we'll start off with an unprotected left-hand turn. I am just going to talk about what I feel because I really don't know what to expect. There's our full Nitsa stop. So we got a Nitsa stop. And there's our creep. And we got some emergency vehicles over here. And we have a lot of traffic coming from the left.

So my foot's near the brake. I don't want it to aggressively go any... Listen, this unprotected left-hand turn has been amazing in both this Model Y and the Cybertruck. The Cybertruck takes a very exaggerated question mark to get into this median. It also does it at adjacent medians. I know some of you have said, hey, it doesn't do that for me. There's a tiny gap here. It's not budging. Okay, three more, four more cars. And there's what I would call a medium gap. It could go for that.

If it goes, it's got to go now. Wow, good commit. It did do the question mark. There it goes right. And then back to the left. And now, okay, so the left lane is open. Oh, and a car just jumped in it though. Let me pull this up here. Okay, there's an emergency vehicle back there. I don't know if you can see it in the rearview camera. Probably can't. But the left lane is open because of it. But cars keep jumping into this lane after passing that emergency vehicle.

So did you see that tentative, should I go? It's like it's worried about cars merging back over. But then it committed. That was good. That emergency vehicle created a different scenario than I normally have. Normally, if the left lane is open, it'll go, even if there's traffic in the right and left lanes. So I'd say that unprot...
