Alright, we are closed out for the session. Let's take a look at where we ended. The S&P trading up almost 1.7% higher on the day. We are at $74.3799 to close it out. The NASDAQ closing 3.3% higher at 28,10635. For the Dow up about 1.2%, 52,209. We added 615 points. On the Russell we are at 294611. That is up a percent and a third. Let's take a quick look at some of these sectors here at the sector performance.

Jeff and I were just talking about as we were closing. There's tech closing up closer to 5.5% higher. Communication services though a bit of a laggard on the session. Down 2.6%. Discretionary higher though. Consumer staples lower on the session. As we move to our next slab here while we wait for some of these big names to give us some earnings. Utilities down just a bit. Real estate though down a percent and a half. Industrials higher on the session by about 1%. Materials fractionally lower on the session as well. And as we take a look at our last slab here. We are at financials higher on the session.

Energy higher on the session as I am looking at oil here. We're at 83.60 a barrel which is down slightly on the session but healthcare lower as well. Amazon's numbers just coming across the wire here so let's jump right into earnings. As we take a look at Amazon. Their EPS is coming in for the quarter at $5.75. Which if that is correct is considerably higher than the $1.83 that the street is looking for here.
