My colleague Brian Evershtein went to Seattle where he sat down with Boeing Defense, Space and Security boss Steve Parker. They spoke about trainers, tankers, and of course the F-47, but also lots more. And with that, please enjoy the conversation between Brian and Steve.

[SPEAKER_C] Well, thank you so much for taking the time. Really appreciate it. It's a very exciting, interesting time for the company, for the market, for the customers as we're heading into Farnborough. I was hoping kind of to start broad level. We had briefly talked when you were in the interim job about what kind of your approach of where you think the company should go. And I remember you talking about culture changes and talking about unashamedly executing on your projects. That was about a year and a half, maybe a little bit more ago. Have you seen BDS change?

[SPEAKER_D] Really, has the culture changed?

[SPEAKER_C] Are there any things in programs you can see that have really shifted? And how the company is approaching it.

[SPEAKER_E] Yeah, look, I think the word I'd use is momentum. So really, I see real progress that the team's making. But as I mentioned last time, it's sort of rooted in the basics. So production stability, engineering excellence, bounding our fixed-price development programs, and really just getting back to our fundamentals., which is exactly what we've been doing unashamedly. It's really been all about execution.
