[SPEAKER_B] It's Wednesday afternoon, August 12th, and this is AgriTalk. Welcome to AgriTalk. I'm your host, Michelle Rook. Rains ripped higher on WASDE Wednesday with strong technical closes. The market rallied before the WASDE on major Black Sea grain infrastructure damage and export concerns. However, USDA did provide a friendly cut to corn yield of 2.3 bushels per acre to offset a 1.4 million acre increase in harvested acreage. And when coupled with strong demand, that cut ending stocks. Now the report was more neutral for soybeans and wheat. Cattle futures set back with lower cash and higher corn prices while hogs were mostly higher. Details today on AgriTalk.
