Hey everybody, I'm Zach. And I'm Jesse. You're watching Tesla Time News. Episode 608. So Tesla has officially started rolling out FSD version 14.3 on Tuesday. We don't have it yet,

but as soon as we get it, we will go test it. Let's talk about what's in there. And I've seen some videos now. It's looking pretty impressive. Improved parking location pin prediction now shown on map with the P icon. So that's cool. That's good. Because right now you get to a parking lot and it kind of just randomly either brings you to the front door or it might park or it might not. You just don't know. It pretty much always just tries to bring you the front door and then it goes like, there's no spots here. It's like, right. Increased decisiveness of parking spot selection and

maneuvering. Rewrote the AI compiler in runtime from the ground up with MLIR, resulting in 20% faster reaction time and improving model iteration speed. And we've seen some videos. We're going to show you one on PBS today of I think it's actually working. Enhanced response to emergency vehicles, school buses, right-of-way violators, and other rare vehicles. That'll be good because right now it seems to pull over if anything looks even remotely like an emergency vehicle. Like tow trucks. Tow trucks with their lights on, school buses without their lights on that are not even slowing down.

Mitigated unnecessary lane biasing and minor tailgating behaviors. Minor tailgating. It's been tailgating a lot up until this version. So I hope it fixes it. I really hope so. Yeah. It's been like, oh, I want to get over to the left. I'm too afraid to get over to the left. So I'll tailgate this guy since I was planning on passing him anyway. It's like, no. Improved handling of small animals by focusing reinforcement learning training on harder examples and adding rewards for better proactive safety. Improved traffic light handling

at complex intersections with compound lights, curved roads, and yellow light stopping. Driven by training on hard reinforcement learning examples sourced from the Tesla fleet. Well, that's good. Upgraded the reinforcement learning stage of training the FSD neural network, resulting in improvements in a wide variety of driving scenarios. That sounds like a good general thing. Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, improving understanding in rare and low visibility scenarios, strengthening the 3D geometry understanding and expanding traffic sign understanding. So I wonder if I can read more traffic signs now. Maybe. Improved handling of

rare and unusual objects extending, hanging, or leaning into the vehicle path by sourcing infrequent events from the fleet. That's cool. So like stuff that's growing into the lane. Trees. I wonder if it's going to differentiate between vines. I mean, I guess you don't want like kutzu or whatever scratchi...
