This is an area that has truly become hard to keep up with, and it is more exciting than it ever has been, and it lets us from a practical point of view begin to understand the many ways that our abilities to help patients will continue to grow.

Dr. Juan Frias is the medical director and principal investigator at the Los Angeles Institute for Metabolic Research.
