Hey everybody, welcome back to Investing Unscripted where we talk about stocks and we answer the hard questions about investing. I'm Jason Hall, that's Jeff Santoro, the Santoso in our Slack, my good friend, my co-founder of this exciting venture, this media giant that we are building. Hey buddy.

Hi. Yes, media giant is a word or a descriptor you could use for our podcast. Yeah, it's two words, but directional. It is two words you could use to describe our podcast. So we're going to do a thing today. We are. And that thing is, we're going to look at the Magnificent Seven and I guess it goes back to, we did a rough cut. I had the idea and just kind of the gist of it. So the rough cuts, of course, those are the little shorts that we use growing upwards.

We did a rough cut and the short version of it, the gist of it was if you had told me at the beginning of the year that multiple of the Mag Seven were down double digits this year

and only one was doing better than the market overall, my interpretation would have been that it was a bad year for investors. But here we are halfway through the year, the market's up about 10%, the S&P is up about 10%.
