As a result, North American LNG has never been more important. U.S. LNG feed gas demand was around 18 BCF a day on Tuesday, August 4th, according to NGI's Entropic Analytics, as it continues becoming an increasing

part of the overall market. I speak to NGI Senior Editor for LNG, Jacob Dick, about North American and global LNG markets and also about new projects and what trends Jacob sees coming up. As always, my email is chris.linton at natgasintel.com. And now, here's Jacob Dick.

Jacob, last time you were on the podcast, we interviewed Anne-Sophie Corbeau of Columbia University around the Hormuz crisis. And, you know, it's four months later now and the situation hasn't really changed. At the time, the worry was, you know, in certain parts of the world, demand destruction. You know, would Europe have enough gas? Maybe some buyers being priced, priced,

out of the market. And then, you know, this sort of general oversupply narrative that everyone had, you know, started talking about at the start of the year changing. You know, where are we now today in the global LNG market as it pertains to the Middle East crisis? I would say, at least the tenor, you know, too few earnings are going on right now. A lot of the majors are coming in with another temperature check about how things have been going up to this point in the year.
