Hello everybody, welcome, Sean Hathaway here. It is 1.59pm, Friday, April 17. Welcome to the Breakaway Podcast. I'm your host, Sean Hathaway. Some quick disclaimers. Hopefully everything's running here okay. This is a podcast, it's all things finance. Hopefully you learn a little bit, but these are just opinions and thoughts.

By the way, I think everybody should have an advisor, especially when you get a certain amount of dollars. Like, it just helps you retire comfortably and with sanity. If you have a good advisor, I'm convinced, and I didn't used to be,

by the way. But I am now convinced that you will retire with more money than you would without. Didn't I just say there's no financial recommendation? Anyway, take that as you will. It's just nice to have somebody's, an objective third party opinion on things. Let me put it that way. I even have an investment advisor. Okay, so let's go golf. This is crazy. I gotta run, man. I have a tee time and I better check this.

I'm pulling up my tee. I think I'm teeing off at 250. Friday. Yes, I am. I've been in a mental state of hurt lately. I want to share some deep thoughts with you. I am a big golfer and, you know, I talk about it a lot and some people hate it and think it's terrible for the environment. It probably is all the fertilizer and stuff. But whatever. You only live on this. But it's a hell of a mental game, man. And the older you get, I used to think it was kind of a wimpy sport.

No, no. You go walk 18 and tell me you're not tired. But I used to, you know, when I was 23, I'd walk 18 with the bag on my back and probably 12 to 18 beers in there. Might have even been smoking stuff. Who knows what we were doing back then? But it was nuts. Okay, let's get serious. So I shot a 100. What does that mean? Par is 72.

So I kind of like it when I shoot low 80s. That's like, hey, I'm generally satisfied. Mid 80s. I shot a 100 in a tournament. And luckily I didn't have other teammates. Why do I say that? Because I would just feel horrible for them. So I just had to feel horrible for myself. I thought about pulling off many, many times. And I stuck through it. And I think I'm a strong... I think. I'm not sure. But I think I'm a stronger person for it.

So what's my point here? Two minutes in and I'm in a rush. Don't ever quit. Try golf. It's great. It'll make you mentally stronger. And it's physically challenging as well, particularly the older you get. Hope you love that. The Masters this year, golf... Oh, I will talk about finance, by the way. Stay tuned. I'm going to talk about markets, which are just kicking ass. Netflix, OpenAI, Tesla, SpaceX. Can't stop without some fraud.
