Welcome to FreightWaves Today. It is Friday, right before a big weekend. Juli, we've had a great week here at FreightWaves Today.

It's a little bit of summer doldrums, as we're going to talk about today. We did have an earnings report from Volvo. Orders doubled? Yeah, so I read that truck deliveries were up 6% overall. Net order intake was up 33%, primarily driven by North America, which those orders doubled. Overall, really, I think they beat expectations. They did well. Their net sales were up 7%. Vehicle sales about 6%. Service, 7%.

I think the new order number is the more interesting one, because it does tell you a lot about sort of the state of the freight market. The fact that we are seeing fleets sort of lean into replacements. A lot of this is replacements. You do have the certainty around EPA, which I think is certainly going to help. But I don't know that that really creates a big pre-buy. We've talked about the fact that pre-buy is not happening to the degree that maybe a year ago people expected it would.

But I think they were certainly indicating that the U.S., or at least the North American market, is doing much better than even some of their other parts of the world. Yeah, and we talked a little bit about it yesterday, too. But I think consumer sentiment is finally really...
