We're going to have a conversation with the CEO of CVS Health, David Joyner. Thank you very much for joining us today. Thanks for having me.

So earlier today I was at CVS. Of course. And in my neighborhood they have a CVS. And as soon as I go to check out something, buy something, they ask if I'm a member of the club. And I said no, I'm not a member. And they said well you're like the only person who's not a member. And the reason I'm not a member is because I'm afraid if I become a member I'll get emails the rest of my life.

Is that a fair view or not? No, that's not fair. It's a choice. It's a choice So our preference is to sign you up right here today. Okay. What kind of discount do you actually get? Well, it ranges but you can get 10 to 30. In some cases you get the extra bucks back so it could be free. Okay. Well, good. When I buy things though, they have these long receipts. Why do you have that? Why is that?

When I buy something in the machine, they give these long receipts. Well, it's another one of the opportunities for improvement. So we're kind of known for the receipts because people used to like actually having the physical coupon to be able to use in the store. So we introduced a handful of years ago the opportunity to opt out and actually get it in the form of an email or in your extra care program.
