Let's bring in Tom White, co-host of FastMarket, to help set up the action today. All right, Tom, there's certainly a push-pull going on here. One day you have earnings and strong earnings taking center stage and being at the front of the relay. The next day you've got the geopolitical risk. What's your big picture take when you look across the markets today? Hey, Dayan, I think you make a good point. You know, earnings are coming in better than anticipated on the top and bottom lines. We see those beat rates.

I think one of the differences is the fact that maybe a lot of the price action in some of these names, you're seeing pullbacks in Taiwan Semi today, GE, United Airlines post earnings. But you know what? Maybe this stuff was already priced into the shares. You know, we've enjoyed about three or four straight quarters of, you know, more than double-digit growth, some, you know, over 20% gains as far as earnings growth goes.

And maybe the stock price action that we've already seen, I kind of go off of that all the time, that we're seeing a little bit of a pullback, maybe some profit taking in some of those names. And then you throw in, as you mentioned, the geopolitical risks and the tensions that are heating up here. You know, Iran basically coming out and saying that day they will retaliate if the U.S. goes after infrastructure sites,

which President Trump kind of highlighted yesterday, that they're going to start going after those as early as next week. So those are the concerns that we're weighing right now. You've got crude oil that have rallied pretty significantly so far this month.
