This week, Stephen and I are joined by Piper Sandler's Senior Research Analyst, Alex Potter. We had you on about a year ago, and since then, quite a bit has changed.

Many of the EV tax credits have gone away. We've had, obviously, a shock to oil prices in 2026. That's perhaps brought some more demand for EV vehicles. SpaceX has IPO'd, which is a stock that you cover. So lots to talk about, but maybe we just start off kicking it off big picture, how you see things in your coverage space right now. So yes, that is true.

I would say that incrementally, there is an uptick in demand for EVs as a result of higher gasoline prices. We've seen some evidence for that in the U.S. There's always been evidence for it in China and Europe. The ship has more or less sailed in those regions. So EV, and they call them range-extended electric vehicles, which is basically an EV that has a small internal combustion engine on board to charge the battery.
